Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 27, 2026

Links (the "app") is a link-saving app that works without sign-up. The operator does not collect information that identifies you, such as your name, email address or phone number, through the app.

1. Personal information we process and why

• Service operation: the app communicates with the Links server to receive settings, notices, ads and this policy. Information needed for communication, such as your IP address, is processed only to keep the service stable and prevent abuse.
• Inquiries: if you contact us by email, your email address and message are used to reply.

Your library, including saved links, categories, profile photo and settings, is stored on your device and is not sent to the operator. Link previews (title and image) are requested by your device directly from the website, and link addresses are not sent to the Links server. Clipboard links are processed only on your device, and backup files are saved to a location you choose. Neither is sent to the operator.

2. iCloud sync (optional)

If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings, the links and categories in your library are stored in the private storage of your iCloud account. This data is not stored on the Links server, the operator cannot view it, and Apple's terms and privacy policy apply. You can turn sync off in Settings and delete data stored in iCloud from iCloud storage management in iOS Settings.

3. Retention and destruction

• Connection information: the Links server does not store IP addresses and uses them only briefly in memory to limit request rates. Logs kept by the hosting provider (Render) are deleted after up to 30 days under that provider's policies.
• Inquiry information: deleted without delay once the inquiry is resolved, unless the law requires it to be kept for a period.
• Data on your device: deleted when you delete it in the app or delete the app. If you turned on iCloud sync, data stored in iCloud must be deleted separately as described in section 2.

Information in electronic form is deleted in a way that cannot be recovered.

4. Provision to third parties

The operator does not provide personal information to third parties, except where required by law.

5. Processors and overseas transfer

The tasks below are entrusted to these companies, and information is transferred overseas as a result. The operator ensures that each processor does not use the information beyond the entrusted task and protects it to the same standard as this policy.

Render Services, Inc. (United States, privacy@render.com)

• Task: hosting the server and database
• Country: Singapore
• Items: communication information such as your IP address
• When and how: transmitted over an encrypted connection when the app communicates with the server
• Retention: as described in section 3

ImprovMX Incorporated (United States, support@improvmx.com)

• Task: forwarding inquiry emails sent to support@keeplnks.com
• Country: United States, European Union
• Items: inquiry emails (sender email address, subject, content) and delivery logs
• When and how: transmitted over the network when you send an inquiry email
• Retention: emails are deleted as soon as they are forwarded; delivery logs are deleted automatically after 7 days

Google LLC (United States, googlekrsupport@google.com)

• Task: receiving and storing inquiry emails (Gmail)
• Country: the United States and other countries where Google operates data centers
• Items: inquiry emails (sender email address, subject, content)
• When and how: transmitted over the network when an inquiry email is forwarded
• Retention: as described in section 3

If you do not want these overseas transfers, you can ask us to stop them at the contact in section 9. Server communication is needed to provide the app, so refusing the transfer to Render means you cannot use the app, and refusing the transfers to ImprovMX and Google means you cannot contact us by email.

6. Automatic collection tools and external websites

The app does not use cookies or other automatic collection tools and does not track you for advertising. When the app fetches a link preview or you visit an external website, that website may process connection information.

7. Security measures

We take measures to process personal information safely, including encryption in transit and access control on the server.

8. Your rights

You can view, edit and delete your data in the app at any time, and you can request access to, correction, deletion or suspension of processing of personal information at the contact below. We may ask you to verify your identity to the extent needed to handle a request.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the changes and the new effective date will be posted on the app's privacy policy screen.
